Few people get a behind-the-scenes look at Studio 8H at Rockefeller Plaza during Saturday Night Live’s hiatus—but I had the rare opportunity when I was invited to collaborate with GOLF Channel’s on-air production and events team. Our mission: to design and execute a one-night-only VIP experience for a primetime PGA of America event, staged within the iconic SNL set.
As part of the project, I made multiple visits to Studio 8H—first to meet with studio staff and explore the creative possibilities of the space, and later to oversee final execution. I worked closely with local vendors to print and deliver custom designs, ensuring every detail of the temporary staging and VIP experience reflected the prestige of the event and the uniqueness of the venue.
Final deliverables included a fully branded green room experience and theater materials used on the night of the show.
